Christian Education and Nurture for All Ages

Sunday School – Opening The Ark This Fall –  begins Sept. 12th, 2010!

At Saint Andrew we offer Sunday School, called The Ark, for children from preschool through 6th grade each Sunday at 9:30 to 10:30 am from September – June.   The Ark begins with worship and music and then breaks into classes for Bible story exploration through art, drama, sports and storytelling.  The Ark is  held in our Fellowship and Christian Education building which is connected to the sanctuary.

Youth Underground happens each Sunday in the church basement in between the services (10:15 to 11 am)  for youth 7th – 12th grade so to explore topics important to teens as it relates to their faith in God and how they can live lives serving Jesus and neighbor.

In addition to Sunday school, there are also three Youth Groups at Saint Andrew.

Continuing Education
Adults are also encouraged to take advantage of several offerings including  Soul Food Cafe which is a faith topic discussion group that meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am.  Additionally, a Tuesday morning Bible Study is hosted by the pastors each week at 10:30 am.  On our Wednesday night family programming night, an Adult Class will meet to study Jesus’ parable  then the Gospel of Matthew.  Adult education classes are held in the Adult Education room in the Christian Education and Fellowship hall.
